The following lists describe the drawings provided for the construction of a boat. Since features vary from one design to the next, some designs may not have all the drawings listed or the applicable detail may be illustrated on another drawing.

Plan prices are based on value, capacity, and complexity of vessel and not necessarily on size.

Unless otherwise arranged:

1. All designs are furnished with an allowance for consultation that will be reviewed at time of purchase. Costs for telephone, postage, courier, etc. are extra
2. Plans are sold for the construction of one vessel only.
3. Applicable standard detail sheets are not listed.
4. Some designs have been computer lofted (L)-costs included.
5. Some designs are available with NC files (NC) at extra cost.

* Note: Drawings required will be as specified by the regulatory agency. Recreational vessels may have appropriate drawings furnished as an option and at additional cost. The following are not normally furnished but can be on request:

• HVAC (Heating, ventilation, Air Conditioning).
• Electrical Diagram (One Line) AC.
• Electrical Diagram (One Line) DC.
• Specifications.
• Statement of Requirements.

Note (Professional or Experienced Builders):

In many cases, the designs listed under commercial vessels consist of essential drawings and are sufficient for experienced builders. Almost all designs have been built and in use for several years.

Some plan packages on the commercial list are our "Basic" package consisting of the LINES PLAN, OFFSETS, GENERAL ARRANGEMENT, and SCANTLINGS LIST. In the case of smaller vessels with simple power installations (outboards, stern drives, etc.), this design package plus available consultation has proven quite sufficient. For the "Basic" package on larger vessels, plans may be complemented with standard detail sheets or equivalent drawing from other designs.

Except where noted by [S] for steel, all designs are for aluminum.

Patterns:
We have found that paper patterns are not accurate or stable, and do not recommend their use. Building a boat does warrant accuracy and starting with built in errors does not seem logical. For builders not wishing to loft we can furnish corrected offsets to facilitate construction. This service may be at additional cost.

Unless noted otherwise, all plans are in U.S./Imperial units. For S.I. (metric) units please contact us.

Inspected Vessels - Designs marked (insp) can meet regulatory requirements of Canada. Requirements to conform to regulatory requirements of other countries will be examined on an as needed basis. Costs may be extra and can be quoted on request.
